Succulents are some of the easiest plants to care for and maintain: they're the perfect plants for busy folks who just want a low-maintenance plant to add to their desk. What does my succulent want?
Succulents are very good ommunicators. You'll be able to tell what they want based on the leaves.
Light: Succulents want bright, indirect light. If you have a south-facing window, or a window that gets 6+ hours of sun each day, your succulent will love it.
My succulent has gotten super tall, and there's a lot of space between the leaves. Is this bad?
Your succulent needs more light. It's stretching all the way out to reach for the sun, which means it's not happy in its environment. Move it to a place with more light and it should be happier.
Water: Succulents generally don't like too much water. Our watering schedule is to water thoroughly (completely soaking the soil) and then letting the soil dry out for 10-12 days. This is also dependent on the environment, so watch your succulent's leaves!
If the leaves start to look soggy, that's too much water!
If the leaves start to shrivel up, it needs some more water!
