SignThe Griffin family has been living on Round Tree Farm since 1947. We have farming in our blood. But it has been interesting to look back and see how our transition from a dairy farm into a garden center is really getting us back to our roots, to excuse the pun. This photo shows Christopher & Florence Emmett in their greenhouse in the East Falls section of Philadelphia shortly after leaving England to raise their family in the land of opportunity. Their daughter Elsie married another British expatriate, Horace Griffin. Horace & Elsie bought the old Kirkbride dairy farm in Mullica Hill, and there they raised their family.

Now, Horace & Elsie’s son, David (and his wife Betty). grandson, Eric (and his wife Jenn) & great-grandchildren, Zachary and Makayla are taking Round Tree into the 21st century. Round Tree Farm & Greenhouse opened in the spring of 2008. We are still a small family business, specializing in well cared for plants and personal customer service. You can always count on a Griffin being there when you come. The tradition continues.

Round Tree Farm & Greenhouse is a family owned and operated retail greenhouse open from mid April until July supplying all your gardening needs and specializing in personalized friendly service. We sell bedding flats, annuals for sun and shade, succulents, perennials and lots more. We are located on our 120 acre family farm and while you shop you can also chose to visit our our 30 head of cattle, numerous cats, kittens and chickens and even watch the corn grow! If just flowers are your forte then the animals and corn are optional NOT obligatory! We look forward to meeting you this 2014 season…please don’t hesitate to stop by!
